The mixed-use parcel that found no bidder in March sold in the early hours of 21 August. The round as a whole was ₹5,391 crore.

The Tribune, filing on 21 August 2026, reported that GMADA’s 27.78-acre mixed-use plot in Sector 62 sold for ₹1,742.31 crore against a reserve of ₹1,214.16 crore. Hindustan Times the next morning put the whole result at ₹5,391 crore from 27 properties, ₹1,518 crore over a combined reserve of about ₹3,872 crore. In March the same flagship parcel had sat unwanted near a ₹1,213.72 crore reserve. The July list put it back with a marginally restated floor.

The rest of the night is more useful to a retail buyer than the flagship. Seven SCOs in Sector 69, about 101 sq m, were reported between ₹7.6 and ₹7.7 crore against ₹3.03 crore. A corner SCO in Sector 53 made ₹6.02 crore against ₹2.97 crore. Plot 82 in Sector 64 made ₹8.02 crore, the high of its category. Hindustan Times counted 254 bids on a Sector 69 corner that finished near ₹9 crore against about ₹3 crore.

Phase 8 is Sector 62. If you live there, this auction is about a huge mixed-use parcel and the traffic it will eventually create. It is not a revaluation of your house by ₹1,742 crore. If you are shopping an SCO, Sector 69 is the comparable people will throw at you for the next year. Make them show size, floor and frontage before they borrow that number.
