11,103 acres is a plan. Ask which survey number is yours.

The 11,103-acre plan, as The Tribune printed it

For anyone searching property in Mohali, plots in Aerotropolis Mohali, plots in Sector 87 Mohali.

Seven townships, Aerotropolis E to J, Sector 87, and industrial land. A March note that later notifications keep confirming in pieces.

On 30 March 2026 The Tribune reported that Punjab had set in motion compulsory acquisition of 11,103 acres in Greater Mohali and New Chandigarh. The list, as that story printed it: Aerotropolis blocks A to D, about 1,651 acres, and Eco City-3, about 716 acres, already at compensation awards above ₹19 crore an acre, with letters of intent going out. A 309-acre low and high density township in New Chandigarh was due an award the same day, also talked about above ₹19 crore an acre.

  • Aerotropolis E to J, about 3,535 acres, at Section 19 — award still to follow.
  • Sector 87 commercial centre, plus industrial sectors 101 and 103, about 509 acres together, at Section 11 after the social-impact study.
  • Industrial park in Sector 101 alone, about 488 acres.
  • Commercial pockets in sectors 85, 86 and 88, about 76 acres; 1,240 acres of master-plan roads; 2,489 acres of Aerotropolis extension on the Banur side — these were still at Section 4.

A section number is a stage of the acquisition law, not a plot you own. July’s resettlement notifications for Sector 87 and Sector 103 are the same plan becoming a gazette, not a new city that opened. If a seller quotes 11,103 acres as the reason your token should be paid this week, ask which survey number is in your sale deed.
