On 17 July 2026 The Tribune reported that 196.4 acres across Manakmajra, Nanumajra, Sohana and Sambhalki were notified as a resettlement area so GMADA can build commercial infrastructure in Sector 87. On 25 September the same paper said the award announcement was postponed, with no new date, the day after the ED search at GMADA.
