Hindustan Times, 29 September 2026: Punjab RERA restored a buyer’s allotment at Sushma Valencia, Nagla, after Suksha Developers cancelled it and demanded a large penalty. The agreement of 9 July 2019 had promised possession by 8 October 2021. Possession was offered on 1 October 2024. RERA ordered 10 percent annual interest on the paid amount and a possession letter only after a completion certificate. Read that before anyone calls the project quietly delivered.
Not a price list. In the complaint Hindustan Times reported on 29 September 2026, one flat was described at ₹59 lakh, with ₹53 lakh paid. That is one allotment, not the project rate.
- Agreement in one complaint: possession due 8 Oct 2021
- Offered 1 Oct 2024
- Interest for delay is a legal outcome, not a discount you can demand by quoting the article.
- Ask whether the completion certificate for your tower is actually in hand.
- The promoter in the order is Suksha Developers. Do not file it under a different Sushma company without reading the agreement.
